  • Be able to explain the difference between a financial and an economic (total value) cost-benefit analysis
  • Have a basic understanding of the different steps of an ELD study

    • Step 2: Geographical characteristics
    • Step 3: Types of ecosystem services
    • Step 4: Role of ecosystem services and economic valuation
    • Step 5: Patterns and pressures
    • Step 6: Cost-benefit analysis and decision-making
    • Step 6+1: Take action- change, adapt, facilitate
