United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification
The United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) is a founding member of the ELD Initiative and the sole legally binding international agreement linking environment and development to sustainable land management in order to restore the productivity of degraded land, improve livelihoods, and reduce the impacts on vulnerable populations.
