Dr. Aïchatou Diarra Camara (Mali)
Aïchatou Diarra Camara is a researcher and lecturer at the University of Bamako (USSGB). She holds a PhD in Economics of Climate Change from Cheick Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal as well as a Master degree in Agricultural Economics from Cocody Universiy in Abidjan (Ivory Coast). She also graduated in Agronomy at Abdelhamid IBN Badis University (Algeria). Through her academic achievements and her broad professional experience in agricultural economics, agronomy, water management and monitoring, Aïchatou Diarra Camara proved to be the perfect candidate to become ELD ambassador in Mali. In her new role, she hopes to be able to help her country and continent to reach their full potential through sustainable land management as a source of economic development.
